Kepler Achieves a World-First For Satellite tv for pc Broadband With 100Mbps Connection To the Arctic

8chan's Original Founder Is Now Urging ISPs To Keep The Site Offline

Small-satellite startup Kepler and its nanosatellites have efficiently demonstrated attaining over 100Mbps of community velocity to a Germany icebreaker sea vessel that acts as a cell lab for the MOSAiC analysis expedition. TechCrunch studies: That is the primary time there’s been a high-bandwidth satellite tv for pc community for any central Arctic ground-based use, Kepler says, and this connection is not only a technical demo: it is getting used for the researchers within the MOSAiC group, which is made up of a whole bunch of people, to switch knowledge backwards and forwards between the ship and shore-based analysis stations, which improves all elements of working with the appreciable portions of information being gathered by the group. On the icebreaker floating analysis ship, Kepler has demonstrated 38Mbps down, and 120Mbps up.
